Audi Air Intake Parts

Audi oversees its global operations from their headquarters in, Bavaria, Germany. Before they built the most sophisticated luxury performance vehicles on the road today, they created a rich history of innovation that transformed an entire industry. Audi’s four ringed logo are symbols of progressive engineering. Their mantra, "Progress through Technology", is the company’s philosophy and the core belief that drives the development of every Audi vehicle. Audi makes sure to inspire innovative solutions, revolutionary engineering, and progressive designs that have become equal with the Audi name. On your Audi’s engine, your mass air flow sensor is produced to measure the amount of air flowing into your engine through the throttle body. It is then sends the information to the vehicle’s computer, where it manages the amount of fuel flowing into your engine. This is imperative to the correct operation of your Audi. If the mass air flow sensor becomes filled with dirt or debris, it will not read the data properly, bringing about issues within your Audi engine The first thing you should do when troubleshooting is to open the hood and find the mass air flow sensor. It is positioned between the throttle body and the air filter on the intake boot and has a wiring harness plugged into it. Detach this harness with your hands and use a screwdriver to loosen the hose clamps holding the mass air flow sensor to the intake’s tubing. When this is done, grab the sensor with your hands and put it out of the way. FCP Euro has a wide scaled of Audi air intake parts and components, including a vast selection of parts for the Audi brand.

Next, spray down the mass air flow sensor with some cleaner on the interior of the sensor. Be sure to spray the wiring in the center of the sensor, too. Let it to air-dry for an hour prior to reinstalling. Put back in the mass air flow sensor with your flathead screwdriver to firm up the hose clamps to both sides of the sensor, then plug the harness back in. Make sure not to run the intake tube too low to the ground. If you do, rain or water may be pulled into the intake and engine. Water, dissimilar air and fuel, is not compressible. Water that is brought into the engine can force an engine to break or bend a rod. On a fuel-injected engine, ensure that it fits the mass air flow sensor securely. This way there is no leakage the intake air temperature sensor can be used effectively.
