BMW 135i Parts

Introduced to the United States for the 2008 model year, the BMW 135i is offered as a part of the recently added 1 series lineup. Although it is offered as a more affordable alternative to the 3 series, the BMW 135i parts ways with the stereotypes associated with entry level vehicles. Available as either a two door coupe or a soft-top convertible, these little cars produce an impressive 300 horsepower from their twin turbocharged inline 6 cylinder engine and still achieving an impressive EPA estimated 28mpg for a unique blend of performance and economy while retaining the image of style and class that BMWs are known for.

Generations of the 135i

The E82 135ii (2008-2013) is a two door coupe model that is that is powered by an N54B30 or N55B30 engine. The 135i was initially offered with an N54B30 bi turbo engine up to 2010 when it was replaced by the NB55B30 twin scroll turbo engine. The N54B30 or N55B30 engines are coupled to a 6 speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual transmission. The 135i with both the N54 and N55 engine are capable of reaching 60MPH from a standing start in 5.3 seconds but have been tested independently to hit 60 in as little as 4.7 seconds.

The E88 135ii (2008-2013) is a two door convertible model that is powered by an N54B30 or N55B30 engine.
